Math & Science Teacher
Is a current middle school teacher at Menaul School. Her teaching career spans 30 years, 2 countries, 4 states, and grades preschool through high school. She is the mother of four children, now in their twenties. Laurie's love of summer camp began at Girl Scout camp and then church camp when she was ten years old. She served as a high school camp counselor and years later as the program director of Mountain Lake Camp in New Preston, Connecticut. She was also the program director of the Hambidge Arts and Science Camp in Rabun Gap, Georgia, and for fifteen years was the director of Vacation Bible School programs at the First Presbyterian Church in Mt. Pleasant, UT. She worked as a counselor at Colorado Camp Cherith, and ran outdoor education programs at the schools where she taught.
