Instrumental Music Teacher
Sarah Muttyala received her Bachelor of Music in trumpet performance from Indiana University where she studied with esteemed trumpet professors, Edmond Cord, Joey Tartell and Pat Harbison. After graduating, Sarah went on to work in music education as an intern to a large high school band program in Oregon. She returned to school after being awarded a graduate assistantship to attend the University of New Mexico, where she earned a Master of Music. While attending UNM, Sarah was a Graduate Assistant to the Jazz Department, a member of the University of New Mexico Graduate Brass Quintet and studied trumpet with Professor John Marchiando. In addition to her degrees in music performance, Sarah has also earned NM Music Education Certification through the UNM Music Education Department.
