Dave was born in Tachikawa, Tokyo, Japan in 1971. He grew up and went to school there; starting in middle school, he went to a D.O.D. school on base. In 1988, he moved to the U.S. He has been a sushi chef for 15 years, and even opened a couple of restaurants in Albuquerque! He worked at Menaul School from 1997-2005, came back in 2007 and has been here ever since!
