Dr. Zhou is devoted to promoting the exchange of culture and technology between the U.S. and China. He is a partner of Techventors LLC and Novetch LLC. Dr. Zhou was an undergraduate instructor and research scientist at Xiamen University from 1985 to 1990, specializing in cancer research. He was awarded a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Genetics in 1995 from the University of Texas. After receiving his degree, he worked at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, doing pioneering work in the development of technologies that are currently used in biological and medical research. Dr. Zhou launched his U.S. entrepreneurial career in 2002 to capitalize on technologies he and his colleagues invented at Los Alamos National Laboratory. These technologies have received significant interest from major pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Dr. Zhou previously worked as an adjunct assistant professor at the University of New Mexico.
