MENAUL SCHOOL seeks students in the 6th through 12th grade who have strong academic potential and are eager to learn. Each student must desire to be a part of a multi-cultural community where participation, compassion, honesty, and academic achievement are a part of everyday life.
To learn more about the application process, please refer to the information below. An Admission Checklist is included in your application materials to assist you with this process.
Application Deadline and Fee
The application deadline for grades 6th through 12th grade is Friday, February 10, 2012. The non-refundable application fee is $35.
Admission Application
To request an application, contact Ericka Paul, Assistant to Admission, at 505-341-7250. You may also complete an inquiry on under "Request a Viewbook." Or you may download the application materials from the link below and mail them to 301 Menaul Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107, Attention: Admission Office.
Please submit your completed application and photograph of your child, along with the application fee, to the Admission Office at Menaul School.
Parent Statement
Parents are requested to complete a Parent Statement to be submitted with the application. The Parent Statement is an opportunity for parents to provide additional information about their child which may not have been included in the application.
School Visit and Interview
A school visit and personal interview are required components of the admission process. Student and parent interviews are scheduled the same day as the school visit. You may contact Ericka Paul, Assistant to Admission, to schedule your:
Classroom visit and student interview (7:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)
Campus tour and parent interview (7:45 a.m. - 10:00 a.m.)
Student visits include spending the day with a Menaul student ambassador. Lunch is provided to our student guests at no cost to the family. Parent visits include a tour of the campus, attending Chapel, and meeting with a representative in the Admission Office.
School visits and interviews may be scheduled prior to submitting an application.
Admission Testing
Although not the primary indicator for acceptance, all applicants are required to take an admission test. Students are evaluated in four areas: Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Math, and Writing. Admission tests are administered from 8:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on the scheduled testing days.

Request for Transcripts
The Records Release Form gives parental permission to your child's current school to send an official copy of their academic records/transcripts directly to Menaul School. Do not send the Records Release Form to the student's current school. Parents must sign the Records Release Form and return to the Admission Office with the completed application.
Teacher Recommendations
After the first grading period, recommendation forms may be given to your child's current English and math teachers. Teachers are asked to mail their completed recommendation to the Admission Office no later than February 1, 2012. All recommendations are confidential. Recommendations will not be accepted if delivered by parents or applicants.
Admission Decisions
All applicants who have completed the entire admission process (including the application, parent statement, school visit, interview, English and math recommendations, academic record/transcripts, and admission testing) by the February 10, 2012 deadline, will be notified by mail of the school's admission decision. Admission decision letters will be mailed on March 30, 2012.
