Welcome to the West Summer Event
Welcome to the West is a two-week, July 31st - August 14th, 2011, English as a Second Language (ESL) and Cultural Immersion Experience! Explore and learn about Albuquerque, New Mexico and surrounding areas while making friends with local students and potential future classmates.
Highlights of what students will explore:
- Go to Sandia Park and ride the Tram.
- Visit New Mexico state Universities
- Weekend trip to Durango Colorado, including horseback riding, a western train ride, and hiking.
- Visit Explora! Museum.
- Go to an Isotopes baseball game.
