Application Deadline and Fee
Applications accepted throughout the spring and summer based on grade availability. The non-refundable application fee is $35.
School Visit and Interview
A school visit and personal interview are required components of the admission process. Student and parent interviews are scheduled the same day as the school visit. You may contact Rodney Grilliot, Director of Day Admission, to schedule your visit.
School visits include a tour of the campus, student and parent interview, and taking an admissions test.
School visits and interviews may be scheduled prior to submitting an application.
Although not the primary indicator for acceptance, all applicants are required to take an admission test. Students are evaluated in four areas: Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, Math, and Writing. To schedule to take an admission test and register for the test, please contact Rodney Grilliot, Director of Admission, at 505-341-7223.
Request for Transcripts
The Transcript Request Form gives parental permission to your child's current school to send an official copy of their academic records/transcripts directly to Menaul School. Do not send the Transcript Request Form to the student's current school. Parents must sign the Transcript Request Form and return to the Admission Office with the completed application.
Please give a Recommendation Form to your child's current English and Math teachers. All recommendations are confidential. Recommendations will not be accepted if delivered by parents or applicants.
All applicants who have completed the entire admission process (including the application, parent statement, school visit, interview, English and math recommendations, academic record/transcripts, and admission testing) will be notified by mail of the school's admission decision.
