Panther Camp
Panther Camp @ Menaul is Menaul School's Christian summer camp program designed to provide children in Albuquerque an affordable, well-rounded, and fun experience.
Panther Camp @ Menaul is open to all children entering grades 1st – 6th in the fall. It runs Monday thru Friday 8am to 4pm daily. The all-inclusive price of $175 per week covers lunch, snacks, weekly field trips and all materials. In order to make the Panther Camp experience open to families of all incomes, financial assistance is available on a first come first served basis.
The Summer 2012 theme is Imagine What I Can Be! Each week, we will be exploring a different occupation:
Week 1: June 11-15 Inventors Week 4: July 9-13 Detectives
Week 2: June 18-22 Chefs Week 5: July 16-20 Stormchasers
Week 3: June 25-29 Musicians Week 6: July 23-27 Veterinarians
What Makes Panther Camp Different:
1) Christian daily devotionals and weekly community service projects
2) Creative weekly themes designed to explore different aspects of the world using games, music, art, stories, and more
3) Adult/camper ratio of 1:10
4) A scholarship fund that provides partial financial assistance to Albuquerque families
Daily Activities Include:
Devotions and singing
- Team-activities and competitions
- Arts & crafts
- Games
- Storytime
- Waterplay (note: we will not be going swimming)
- Discovery lessons/ Cooking lessons
